Katherine Malonda is an interiors and architectural Photographer living in Petersfield, Hampshire - but covers all over the UK. Starting off at art school she knew photography was going to be her biggest love and where she wanted to work in, along with her passion for architecture!

Early parts of Katherine’s photography career has been working in and around London for many corporate companies, but is now fortunate to travel all over the UK and internationally as fully freelance.

Her style comprises of a mix of natural light where possible, and the beauty in where the light lands (with a pop of flash where needed). The notion of home has been one she has always had an interest in, and loves to tell a story through the photos by creating narratives and a sense of personality within the space. She is very focused on showing a space in its true tone, where colours pop and look as they would in real life.

Katherine’s more recent work has a heavy focus on an editorial look, with her work featuring regularly in print features such as KBB magazine, House Beautiful, 25 Beautiful Homes, The Times, Daily Mail, Hello! and other renovating magazines.

A Considered, Collaborative Approach

I approach each commission with care, discretion, and a strong sensitivity to design detail, and ultimately the end goal for the client. I incorporate subtle styling where required to refine presentation and to give the space a lived in feel. My working style is calm, efficient, and unobtrusive — ensuring a smooth process and consistently elevated results from concept through to completion. With years of experience I know how to approach each room, to work alongside homeowners (and pets!) and make the day as calm and enjoyable for all as possible.

  • When I arrive i’m happy to liaise with customers and introduce myself firstly! I’ll then make sure it’s okay to set up and move a few bits around to style the space. We can work together with this bit! Once you’re happy with how it’s looking I’ll then start shooting all the key angles and shots that your project deserves! Equally if you can’t attend - not to worry, I will just crack on!

  • I take on a limited number of commissions, each priced individually depending on the project.

  • I only accept 2-3 shoots a week. Booking 1-2 months in advance is encouraged - but always worth enquiring for last minute availability too as things often change!
